Step 2. Look for Multi-window.

Step 3. If you have the function, simply activate the corresponding switch to enable it.

Once the function is activated in Settings, you will need to add two apps to place next to each other:

Step 1. Press and hold the return key for a few seconds.

Step 2. A menu will on the right side with the list of supported apps.

Step 3. Drag the first app in the top half of the display.

Step 4. Drag the second app in the lower half of the display.

Only some system applications and a few third-party apps are supported.

You can’t create a folder directly on the dock. The first icon just gets sent back to its original spot if you try to drag an app icon onto one that’s already on the dock.

Procedure:

You have to create a folder first instead, and then drag the folder to the dock.

Step 1. To create a folder on iOS, tap and hold one app icon (being careful not to press hard enough to activate 3D Touch).

Step 2. When the icon starts to wiggle, drag it on top of another app icon and let go.

Step 3. Remove an icon on the dock to make extra space.

Step 4. Move the folder you created to the dock.
